Is Trump moving to Hong Kong for our countryside? New visa rules make it easier!

Hold on—let’s avoid confusing Trumps.
It’s been reported in the SCMP – 28th Dec 2024, that Judd Trump, the world’s #1 snooker player, might be taking up residency in Hong Kong. This aligns with a growing wave of sports personalities and professionals choosing Hong Kong as their home base; which has just become easier.
As the city recovers, it’s fascinating to see our resurgence as a global choice for residence (https://lnkd.in/gbQjsNUK?). It’s hard to beat Hong Kong’s appeal as a city or business destination, so people are choosing to move here. We have everything from amazing coastlines and ocean, beaches and mountains, plus even huge natural waterfalls (as I was just at) in our countryside. So many Hong Kong locations would be major tourist destinations and draws in any other country: let alone if packed into a tiny city and minutes from a major business centre.
But if Judd Trump does move here, imagine the possibility of a confusing media (fake news?) frenzy; the headlines may be entertaining.
As for the other Trump, if he visited Hong Kong he’d be better informed; though I doubt he’ll be here for a walk let alone call Hong Kong home anytime soon. So how about a visit from his “China business expert” Elon Musk? I’d gladly show him around town .. and even take him for a hike in our spectacular countryside!
